吴先华，男，湖北石首人。博士、上海海事大学“远航计划”特聘教授,“管理科学与工程”博导。必威党委副书记、院长。教育部高等学校经济学类专业教学指导委员会委员。
主要讲授课程：统计学、计量经济学、投入产出分析前沿等。主要研究方向：大数据与管理定量分析、灾害风险与应急管理、航运产业经济学等。
目前是国家社科重大招标项目首席专家。主持完成国家自然科学基金重大研究计划项目、面上项目、国际合作与交流项目、主任基金、国家软科学研究计划项目等纵向和横向项目30多项。在《Risk Analysis》《Annals of Operations Research》《Transportation Research Part D》《Ecological Economics》《Technological Forecasting & Social Change》《Structural Change and Economic Dynamics》《Socio-Economic Planning Sciences》《Computers & Industrial Engineering》《Applied Energy》《管理科学学报》《中国管理科学》《系统工程理论与实践》《中国工业经济》《科学通报》《中国软科学》等期刊上发表论文140余篇。在Springer Nature、科学出版社、高等教育出版社等出版（编）著8部。
教研成果获国家教学成果奖一等奖（9/12）、江苏省教学成果奖一等奖（1/7）、教育部优秀人文哲社成果奖二等奖（4/10）、第十四届霍英东基金会高校青年教师奖（1/1）等多项。上海领军人才、江苏省“333”工程第二层次人才、第三层次人才、江苏省“六大人才高峰”高层次人才，江苏省教育厅“青蓝工程”骨干教师。
2010年12月-2011年12月，曾在教育部高等教育司财经政法与管理教育处借调。

Dr. Xianhua Wu is a Distinguished Professor at Shanghai Maritime University, China. His specialty areas include disaster risk analysis, big data analysis, applied statistics, and shipping industry economics. He has published 8 books such as Economic Impacts and Emergency Management of Disasters in China(Published by Springer Nature) and more than 140 academic articles in journals like Risk Analysis， Annals of Operations Research, Transportation Research Part D, Ecological Economics, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Structural Change and Economic Dynamics, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, Computers & Industrial Engineering, Applied Energy and others.
As a Principal Investigator, He has 7 national research projects such as “The Major Research Plan of National Social Science Foundation of China (18ZDA052): Research on the Control Optimization of Air Pollutant Emission in the Era of Big Data”, “Training Program of the Major Research Plan of the National Science Foundation of China (91546117): Research on Integration Method of Big Data of Meteorological Disasters for Supporting Emergency Decision-making” and etc. He is also a member of the Steering Committee of Economics Education, MOE, China.
